Founder & Executive Director

Nicholas Serenati, Ph.D.

Founder / Executive Director

Nicholas Serenati, Ph.D., serves as Founder and Executive Director of the Royal United Foundation. His leadership is grounded in education, athletics, youth development, community building, and a commitment to creating opportunity through structured programs that support long-term personal growth.

Through the Foundation, Dr. Serenati works to advance initiatives focused on health and wellness, education, leadership development, athletics, mentorship, and community engagement. His vision is to build a trusted nonprofit organization that connects people, resources, and partnerships to create measurable impact for youth, families, and communities.

Cory Chapman

Board Chair

Educator in the District of Columbia, providing leadership experience, educational insight, and a commitment to youth development and community advancement.

Courtland Merkel

Vice Chair

Attorney at Law, supporting the Foundation through governance perspective, legal insight, organizational accountability, and strategic leadership.

Leslie Campbell

Secretary

Retired educator, bringing experience in learning, service, youth support, and educational leadership to the Foundation’s mission and governance.

Karrson Smith

Treasurer

Physical Therapist, contributing expertise in health, wellness, movement, rehabilitation, and responsible stewardship of the Foundation’s resources.
